Absa arranges EUR 456 million financing for Genser Energy

Absa Bank Limited has acted as an arranger for a EUR 456 million term and revolving credit facilities package for Genser Energy Investments LLC. The financing is intended to provide working capital for the West African integrated energy company’s ongoing engineering, procurement, and construction projects.

The funds aim to strengthen Genser Energy’s balance sheet and provide financial flexibility for strategic priorities, including investment in energy infrastructure and operational expansion across the region. This transaction follows previous financial milestones for the company, including a USD 428 million corporate refinancing for Genser Energy Ghana and a EUR 200 million equipment loan for Genser Energy d’Ivoire SA.
