Absa Bank Ghana donates equipment to Buzstop Boys

Absa Bank Ghana has donated a variety of specialized equipment to the volunteer group Buzstop Boys to enhance their community clean-up, waste management, and drain-clearing operations. The donation was presented at the bank’s new head office, Absa Place.

The equipment provided includes a demolition breaker, an angle grinder, sledgehammers, a submersible sewage pump, a petrol pressure washer, a brush cutter, an earth auger, a portable generator, a lawn mower, and 100 metres of layflat hose. These tools are intended to help the group address practical challenges encountered during their environmental and civic activities.

Absa executives, including Kobla Nyaletey and Charles Addo, stated that the contribution aligns with the bank’s commitment to supporting community-led projects that offer long-term social and environmental benefits. Heneba Kwadwo Safo, the founder of Buzstop Boys, noted that the tools will assist volunteers in maintaining public spaces more effectively.
