Absa Mauritius expands cancer‑screening partnership with Link to Life

Absa Mauritius announced a Rs 5 million contribution to its long‑standing partnership with the non‑profit Link to Life. The funding will broaden the “Stories of Hope” programme, which aims to raise awareness, provide education and deliver free early‑cancer screenings across Mauritius and Rodrigues. Since its launch, the initiative has reached more than 3,200 people and performed over 2,400 free screenings.

Cédrine Chimon‑Rampal, CSR Manager at Absa Mauritius, said the bank is proud of the progress made and intends to continue encouraging Mauritians to take proactive steps for their health. The renewed support is intended to intensify outreach, education and early‑detection efforts throughout the islands.
