Abse-èl launches couture division for bespoke artist apparel

Italian fashion brand Abse-èl, founded by designers Davide Mattiucci and Giuseppe Di Bartolomeo, has launched Abse-èl Atelier. This new couture division focuses on creating bespoke looks for artists, performers, and stage protagonists.

The division's debut features collaborations with Elettra Lamborghini and Serena Brancale. For Lamborghini’s ‘Bilaterale’ summer tour, the brand created ten exclusive couture looks designed to balance visual spectacle with functionality. These pieces utilize technical elasticized materials to accommodate choreography and involve intensive craftsmanship; each body requires approximately 130 hours of manual labor and is embellished with 3,000 to 5,000 hand-applied crystals, sequins, and beads by Italian artisans.

In contrast to the high-spectacle approach for Lamborghini, the collaboration with Serena Brancale emphasizes a more essential and refined aesthetic intended to highlight her natural elegance. The core philosophy of Abse-èl Atelier is to build an image based on the artist's unique identity through the study of their music, movement, and personality rather than imposing a singular brand style.
