Abu al-Saud Muhammad earns Master's degree in digital media study
Journalist and former member of the Journalists Syndicate Council, Abu al-Saud Muhammad, has earned a Master's degree with distinction from the Faculty of Graduate Studies for African Studies at Cairo University.
His thesis, focused on cultural anthropology, examined the societal vision of how digital media influences political awareness in Egypt and Sudan. The research explored the role of digital platforms in shaping public opinion and the transformations in how citizens interact with political issues and access political knowledge.
The examination committee included State Minister for Media Dhiaa Rashwan and Assistant Professor of Anthropology Mohamed Mossad Imam. The defense was attended by various media figures and journalists, including Abdel Mohsen Salama, head of the Journalists Syndicate.
