Abu Azmi criticizes Kashmir security and minority treatment
Samajwadi Party state president and legislator Abu Azmi has raised concerns regarding the situation in Kashmir following the removal of Article 370. He stated that despite government claims, terrorism persists in the valley and noted that 26 people were killed in attacks last year. Azmi further alleged that minorities are facing mistreatment.
Regarding the national anthem controversy in Kerala, Azmi referenced a Supreme Court ruling involving students who were suspended for not singing the anthem. He noted the court's stance that such actions do not constitute treason. Azmi emphasized that while national symbols deserve respect, they should not be enforced through compulsion. He also expressed respect for BJP leader Pankaja Munde, noting her willingness to assist regardless of political affiliation.
