Abu Dhabi Chamber and Siemens partner to accelerate industrial digital transformation

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed a cooperation agreement with Siemens to accelerate industrial digital transformation and enhance the competitiveness of private sector companies in Abu Dhabi. The agreement focuses on advanced technologies, innovation, sustainability, and capacity building.

Signed in Munich during the UAE Investment Forum, the partnership aims to implement programs supporting smart manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 applications. Key areas of focus include exploring the ‘digital product passport’ to improve digital tracking, transparency, and market access for Abu Dhabi-based companies.

Additional collaborative efforts will include research and development, knowledge exchange, and initiatives related to energy efficiency and decarbonization. The agreement also seeks to facilitate direct engagement between Siemens experts and the Abu Dhabi business community through workshops, forums, and exhibitions.
