Abu Dhabi Grand Prix preparations begin for 2026 season

Preparations are underway for the 2026 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, scheduled to take place from December 3-6 at the Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island. The event serves as the final round of the Formula One World Championship.

The 2026 edition will feature 11 F1 teams on the grid, an increase from 10 the previous year. In addition to Formula 1, the Formula 2 Championship will conclude in the UAE capital, and the new AZM GT championship will make its debut as a support race with a non-championship Trophy Round.

Alongside the racing, the Yasalam festival will host a program of music and entertainment, with 11 artists already announced. Organizers report high demand for tickets, noting that several categories, including the Main and North Grandstands, are already fully booked.
