Abu Dhabi hosts 35th Desert Challenge and Expo 2025 youth program

The 35th Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge is scheduled to take place from November 22–27, 2026. Organized by the Emirates Motorsports Organization in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the rally raid event will serve as the final round of the World Rally-Raid Championship. For the first time in its history, the race will start and finish in the Al Ain Region, connecting Al Ain in the east with Al Dhafra in the west, with Madinat Zayed serving as the primary operational hub.

Separately, the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has conducted a session at United Arab Emirates University to share insights from its Youth Ambassador Programme. The initiative, a flagship of the UAE Expo Office, provided 46 ambassadors—including 24 Emiratis—with experience in cultural diplomacy and national representation during the Expo in Japan. The program aims to build leadership and cross-cultural engagement skills among young people.
