Abu Dhabi hosts motorsport challenge and community family run

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in collaboration with the Emirates Motorsports Organization, has announced the fourth season of the Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge for 2026–2027. The competition will consist of four rounds held between October 2026 and April 2027 in locations including Tilal Sweihan, Liwa, and Al Ain. The event is designed to support emerging talent by allowing newcomers to compete alongside professional drivers in categories including cars, buggies, motorcycles, and quads.

Separately, the SEHA Family Run drew over 800 participants as part of the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2026 initiative. Organized by the ADNEC Group in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the event featured various race distances, including 1KM, 3KM, and 5KM categories, to encourage physical activity among families and community members.
