Abu Dhabi Judicial Department to launch AI-driven judicial platform
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), together with the Department of Government Enablement, is preparing to roll out what it calls the world’s first integrated AI judicial platform. A joint steering committee chaired by Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, ADJD Undersecretary, approved a work plan that will see the first phase start in September (planned for 2026) and continue over an 18‑month period. The system will apply artificial‑intelligence tools to various stages of litigation under full human supervision, aiming to accelerate case completion, improve accuracy and modernise judicial operations. The initiative reflects President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision for innovation in government services and aligns with directives from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to adopt smart‑justice technologies that meet international standards.
