Abu Dhabi launches inaugural Visitor Experience Awards

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has launched its inaugural Visitor Experience Awards. This annual programme aims to recognize organisations and frontline professionals who deliver exceptional service across the emirate.

More than 400 tourism and cultural organisations have been invited to participate in the first edition. The awards are divided into two main streams: Business Awards, which recognize organisations raising industry standards, and Frontliner Awards, which celebrate individual staff members on the ground. There are eight categories in total, covering areas such as innovation, accessibility, customer experience, and service excellence.

An independent judging panel of public and private sector experts will evaluate submissions. The initiative is intended to drive continuous improvement and innovation within Abu Dhabi’s tourism and cultural sectors, reinforcing the emirate's competitiveness as a global destination.
