Abu Dhabi Police offers black point reduction at ADIHEX
Abu Dhabi Police is offering a special service at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) to allow motorists to reduce traffic black points from their records.
Drivers who have accumulated between eight and 23 black points can have eight points removed by paying a fee of AED 800 and completing a mandatory rehabilitation course. This initiative is part of the police force’s efforts to improve road safety and encourage compliance with traffic laws.
For drivers who have already reached the 24-point threshold and had their licenses suspended, a separate rehabilitation programme is available. These individuals must pay AED 2,400 and complete a traffic-law offenders course to have their driving licenses restored. The service is available through a dedicated platform at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi until the exhibition concludes on September 6.
