Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange expands regional ties and investor tools
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has announced several strategic initiatives to enhance regional market connectivity and investor engagement. During the Arab Federation of Capital Markets Annual Conference, ADX signed memorandums of understanding with the Egyptian Exchange and the Damascus Securities Exchange. These agreements aim to facilitate cross-border trading and explore the integration of both markets into ADX’s Tabadul digital exchange network.
Additionally, ADX launched an updated and expanded ‘Investor Relations Guide’. This manual is designed to help boards and executive teams move beyond basic compliance toward strategic communication to build long-term investor trust and market liquidity. To encourage adoption, the exchange will recognize top-performing issuers, while companies failing to meet baseline rules may face formal warnings or fines.
ADX was also recognized by the Arab Federation of Capital Markets with an award for having the highest market capitalization-to-GDP ratio in the Arab market at 261.7% for 2025, significantly exceeding both the regional average of 129.9% and the global average of 149%.
