Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange reaches Dh2.8 trillion market value in H1 2026

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) reported significant growth and infrastructure advancements during the first half of 2026. The exchange's market capitalization reached Dh2.8 trillion by the end of June, supported by a trading value of Dh171 billion.

Investor participation saw a notable rise, with over 30,000 new investors joining the platform. Foreign investors accounted for 77% of these new registrations, and international investors represented 48% of the total trading value. Institutional investors contributed 78% of the total trading value, with net positive inflows of Dh1.4 billion, a 13.7% increase from the previous year.

Operational upgrades included a Core Platform Upgrade, the introduction of new subsidiaries AD Clear and AD CSD, and the integration of hybrid cloud capabilities. The exchange also expanded its global connectivity through new partnerships, including HSBC becoming its first foreign General Clearing Member and Morgan Stanley joining as its first international remote trading participant. Additionally, ADX expanded its cross-border links via the Tabadul network, integrating the Amman Stock Exchange.
