Abu Dhabi targets Dh235 billion in investments and 130,000 jobs by 2045

The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has announced an ambitious economic expansion strategy aiming to attract Dh235 billion in investments by 2045. This initiative is designed to foster an innovation-driven economy and is expected to create 130,000 specialized jobs for highly skilled talent.

The investment targets are distributed across four specialized economic clusters: Smart and Autonomous Vehicle Industries (SAVI), Agriculture and Water Abundance (AGWA), Health, Endurance, Longevity and Medicine (HELM), and Finance, Insurance, Digital and Alternative Assets (FIDA). These clusters are projected to contribute more than Dh284 billion to Abu Dhabi’s gross domestic product (GDP) by 2045.

Hamid Saiah Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of ADDED, stated that the emirate is strengthening its global competitiveness through quality investments, talent attraction, and trusted regulatory frameworks. The strategy follows a period of robust growth, with non-oil sectors now contributing over half of the emirate’s total economic output.
