Abu Dhabi to host EuroLeague Final Four in 2027 and 2029

The EuroLeague and the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) have officially announced that the city will host the Final Four tournaments in 2027 and 2029. This decision follows the successful inaugural event held in Abu Dhabi in May 2025.

The 2027 tournament is scheduled to take place at the Etihad Arena from May 28 to May 30. The schedule includes semifinal matchups on Friday, May 28, and the championship game on Sunday, May 30, which will be preceded by the Adidas NextGen EuroLeague youth final.

EuroLeague President Dejan Bodiroga and CEO Chus Bueno emphasized that this multi-year agreement is a key component of the league’s international growth strategy, combining traditional European markets with global cities that offer world-class facilities. The partnership aligns with Abu Dhabi’s 2030 Tourism Strategy, which aims to increase visitor numbers by over 50% and boost the tourism sector's contribution to the emirate's GDP.
