Abubakar Kabir Bichi leads House Appropriation Committee

Hon. Abubakar Kabir Bichi, representing the Bichi Federal Constituency in Kano State, currently serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation in the Nigerian House of Representatives. This position is considered one of the most influential roles in the House due to its central function in the national budget process.

Kano State has held the chairmanship of this committee four times since Nigeria's return to democratic rule in 1999. Supporters note that Bichi’s tenure has been marked by a visible focus on infrastructural development and constituent empowerment within his constituency.
