Abuja Municipal Area Council Reaffirms Support for Police, Issues Zero‑Tolerance Warning to Criminals

Acting Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Mohammed Yusuf Nadabo, told a Police Community Relations Committee meeting in Kurudu, Abuja, that the council will continue to back the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in protecting residents. He warned that criminal elements have “nowhere to hide in AMAC” and pledged a zero‑tolerance stance toward crime. Nadabo, standing in for Executive Chairman Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, who is on an official visit to the United States, emphasized stronger collaboration, intelligence sharing and community policing as essential tools for maintaining law and order. The council committed to providing the necessary resources to track, arrest and prosecute anyone threatening community peace.
