Abuja Tech Week to drive digital investment into Nigeria

The Abuja Tech and Digital Economy Week (ATDEW) aims to attract local and foreign digital investment to Abuja by connecting technology companies with investors. The event, themed ‘Energizing Smart Mobility: Powering Cities of the Future’, seeks to utilize the Abuja Technology Village to showcase market-ready innovations and facilitate deal-making.

Andrew Abu, Chairman of the ATDEW steering committee, stated that the initiative is designed to bridge the gap between innovation and infrastructure to drive job creation and support startups. The event is expected to attract venture capital and private equity while providing a platform for the government and private sector to align on policies that lower the cost of doing business in the technology sector.

Additionally, the program will offer selected innovators from the National Innovation Challenge access to mentorship, incubation, and commercialization support at the Science and Technology Park.
