ABURI Hyakkan to open first Tohoku location at Aeon Mall Date

Cypress Co., Ltd. has announced that its conveyor belt sushi brand, ABURI Hyakkan, will open its first location in the Tohoku region at Aeon Mall Date in Fukushima Prefecture on November 27, 2026.

The brand specializes in seared sushi, using a technique to enhance the aroma and flavor of fresh ingredients. The restaurant will feature a menu focused on seared delicacies, utilizing proprietary sushi vinegar and high-quality rice to provide an Edo-mae style experience in a casual setting.

In addition to ABURI Hyakkan, Cypress Co., Ltd. plans to launch four other dining establishments within the new Aeon Mall Date facility: Tsukiji Shokudo Gen-chan, Charcoal Grilled Yakitori Ginza Sozaiten, Tonkatsu Toan, and the new Ten-don specialty shop Erubisu. The mall itself is a large-scale commercial complex scheduled to grand open on the same day.
