Abyro Capital launches Beacon SpaceTech accelerator in India

Abyro Capital, together with innovation hub T‑Hub, has opened applications for Beacon, a dedicated accelerator aimed at identifying, investing in and accelerating India’s most promising early‑stage SpaceTech startups. The programme will provide institutional capital, sector‑specific mentorship and ecosystem support to help founders turn breakthrough technologies into globally competitive businesses.

The launch in Hyderabad comes as India’s space economy, valued at about US$8.4 billion, is projected to expand to roughly US$44 billion by 2033. The event featured founders such as Sanjay Nekkanti (Dhruva Space), Anand Rajagopalan (TakeMe2Space), Dr. C. V. S. Kiran (Red Balloon Aerospace) and industry veterans including Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri (Ananth Technologies) and Gnanagandhi Vasudevan (Skyroot Aerospace). Founder and Managing Partner Vamsi Kora said the response confirms that India is entering a defining decade for SpaceTech innovation and that Beacon will bridge the funding and guidance gap for the roughly 400 private SpaceTech startups that have emerged since the sector opened.
