AC Carpi signs striker Leonardo Morosini to two‑year deal

AC Carpi announced that it has acquired the sporting rights of forward Leonardo Morosini. The 1995‑born Italian striker, a former youth product of Brescia, has previously played for Genoa, Avellino, Brescia, Ascoli, Virtus Entella, Carrarese and Novara, amassing 296 professional appearances, 47 goals and 20 assists. Morosini, who won the AIC award for best young player in Serie B in 2015/16, signed a biennial contract that runs until 30 June 2028.

The player praised the club’s humility and the welcoming atmosphere from President Claudio Lazzaretti and the management, stating he wants to be a reference point for younger teammates and contribute technically on the field. He described himself as "very happy to be here".
