AC Milan appoints Ruben Amorim as coach and Markus Krosche as technical director

AC Milan confirmed the hiring of Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim on a two‑year contract with an option for a third season. The deal includes a net salary of just under €3.5 million per year plus bonuses of €1 million for a league title and €500 000 for qualifying for the Champions League. club president Gerry Cardinale endorsed the appointment, noting Amorim’s offensive mindset and experience at Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United.

The club also announced the recruitment of German technical director Markus Krosche from Eintracht Frankfurt. Milan is negotiating an indemnity with the German club to release Krosche, who may bring Timmo Hardung and other staff as part of the new scouting and performance structure. The moves are part of Milan’s restructuring after the dismissal of Max Allegri, aiming to return to the Champions League and improve the squad.
