AC Milan completes record €74 million signing of Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos

AC Milan has reached a deal with Paris Saint‑Germain to sign 25‑year‑old Portuguese international Gonçalo Ramos for a reported €74 million fee, the club’s highest transfer ever and the biggest Serie A purchase since Inter paid €74 million for Romelu Lukaku in 2019. The striker, who played for Portugal in the World Cup, was identified by manager Ruben Amorim as the preferred option for Milan’s centre‑forward role.

In parallel, Milan have opened personal‑terms negotiations with Benfica’s 22‑year‑old centre‑back Antonio Silva, also represented by Jorge Mendes. Silva is expected to sign a five‑year contract running to 2031, with Benfica reportedly demanding around €20 million. Other clubs, including a Saudi side and two Premier‑League teams, have shown interest.
