AC Milan consider signing striker Romelu Lukaku, says Belgian journalist

Belgian journalist and DAZN consultant Frederica Waseige said Romelu Lukaku remains motivated to play in the 2026 World Cup and continues to score decisive goals. She highlighted his recent appearance in Croatia, noting “Qualche giorno fa eravamo in Croazia: è entrato negli ultimi venti minuti e al 93’ ha segnato.”

Waseige suggested that AC Milan could view a Lukaku signing as a worthwhile investment if the cost is sustainable, emphasizing his professionalism, physical preparation and 90 international goals for Belgium. She also mentioned Napoli’s interest, indicating that Milan could benefit from his experience and depth in a demanding season.

No formal negotiations have been reported; the comments reflect speculation about strengthening Milan’s attack ahead of the next Serie A campaign and European competitions.
