AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori set to depart after five seasons
English centre‑back Fikayo Tomori, born in 1997, is preparing to leave AC Milan after joining the club in January 2021 on a €600,000 loan before being purchased for €35.3 million. During his spell he made 214 appearances, scored seven goals, provided six assists and won the 2022 Serie A title and the 2025 Supercoppa Italiana. With his contract due to expire on 30 June 2027 and new manager Rubén Amorim favouring other defenders, Milan have decided not to renew his deal.
Tomori is reported to be the subject of several suitors. Coventry City, coached by former Chelsea star Frank Lampard, have emerged as the most concrete option, while interest has also been noted from Newcastle United, West Ham United, Juventus and Saudi club Al‑Hilal. A move back to England, possibly to Coventry, appears the most likely outcome.
