AC Milan overhauls squad as Amorim drives new signings and transfer moves

AC Milan is reshaping its roster under manager Ruben Amorim. The club completed the €2‑3 million signing of French defender Sankhoun Diawara from Troyes and renewed youth contracts for Francesco Camarda and Christian Comotto until 2031, with an option to extend.

The ownership, led by Gerry Cardinale of RedBird Capital, spent a night at Milanello and held a strategic market summit with directors, signaling a hands‑on approach to the rebuild. Milan’s scouting list includes Belgian side Genk’s midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas, while the club also eyed a potential departure for striker Santiago Giménez, with Lazio expressing concrete interest.

Further changes involve the possible sale of French forward Christopher Nkunku to Roma and the sidelining of defender Fikayo Tomori, who is reported to be courting Premier League clubs. These moves aim to free up resources and align the squad with Amorim’s tactical vision as the club prepares for the upcoming season.
