AC Milan eyes new football leadership and Luka Modric contract extension

AC Milan is facing key developments regarding both its playing squad and its technical leadership. Journalists and commentators have highlighted the importance of midfielder Luka Modric, with Carlo Pellegatti expressing a strong desire for the club to convince the veteran to extend his stay for another season, particularly if the club secures Champions League qualification. Commentator Edoardo Testoni also praised Modric’s exceptional football intelligence, noting that his skill set makes him a player who should remain on the pitch.

On the administrative side, reports suggest the club is working to appoint a new Head of Football. While specific names like Marcus Krosche have been linked to the role, some reports indicate that the club has not confirmed such an appointment and that certain candidates may be excluded. It is anticipated that a new technical director or football chief could be in place by October 10.
