AC Milan eyes Van Dijk transfer as Cardinale's reform push gains approval

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti posted on YouTube that a BBC report suggests Liverpool may entertain offers for defender Virgil van Dijk. He urged AC Milan’s management, including Zlatan Ibrahimović, to act quickly, saying “Io sono innamorato dell'idea di prendere Virgil Van Dijk” and that the Dutch defender would greatly strengthen the squad.

During the club’s pre‑season gathering at Milanello, journalist Francesco Letizia praised owner Gerry Cardinale’s early reform efforts, stating “L’opera di pentimento procede bene: siamo all’inizio, ma è oggettivo che le mosse al momento siano quelle giuste”. Letizia highlighted the importance of the owner’s attentiveness and the positive direction for the team.
