AC Milan players Cisse and Moreira poised for more minutes amid Saelemaekers injury

AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim is evaluating squad rotations following an injury to Alexis Saelemaekers, who is expected to be sidelined until February due to a right ankle issue. This injury is likely to increase playing time for young talents Alphadjo Cisse and Diego Moreira.

Alphadjo Cisse has recently demonstrated growth during international duty with the Italy Under-21 squad, featuring in matches against Armenia and Poland. Amorim is expected to integrate him further into the rotation, potentially utilizing him on the left side in a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Diego Moreira, currently the club's top scorer in the league with three goals, has also gained experience with the Belgian national team. He is viewed as a key option for the midfield or attacking roles, particularly in a 4-2-3-1 setup. The club's management, including Gerry Cardinale, has shown significant interest in Moreira's development.
