Serie A: Napoli faces Monza as Milan prepares for Bologna clash

Italian Serie A action intensifies with several key matchups scheduled for late October 2026. Napoli prepares to face Monza at the Brianteo stadium. Napoli enters the match facing an injury crisis, with six players including Alessandro Buongiorno, David Neres, and Leonardo Spinazzola sidelined. Manager Massimiliano Allegri, who will be serving a suspension for the upcoming match against Juventus, is looking to improve the team's standing following a recent draw against Roma.

In Milan, AC Milan hosts Bologna at San Siro. Under manager Ruben Amorim, Milan remains undefeated in Serie A this season, currently sitting fourth in the standings. However, the Rossoneri are managing significant injury concerns involving players such as Matteo Gabbia, Alexis Saelemaekers, and Adrien Rabiot. Bologna, led by Raffaele Palladino, has shown improved form since his appointment in September and aims to utilize squad rotation to manage player fatigue.

Elsewhere in the league, Fiorentina is set to host Atalanta at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. The match features two teams currently positioned in the lower half of the table, with Atalanta in 11th and Fiorentina in 18th.
