AC Milan pursues Bosnian midfielder Kerim Alajbegovic as part of midfield overhaul

AC Milan, under manager Ruben Amorim, is reshaping its midfield after signing forwards Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila. The club is targeting young Bosnian winger Kerim Alajbegović, born in 2007, who impressed at the World Cup and currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen following a €8 million buy‑back. Milan reportedly needs to meet a €30 million asking price, while competing clubs such as Atalanta and Roma are also interested.

In parallel, Milan may offload two midfielders – former England U‑21 international Ruben Loftus‑Cheek, valued around €10 million, and Warren Bondo, expected to fetch about €8 million – as part of a broader plan to trim the squad and fund new arrivals. Other midfield options under consideration include Youssouf Fofana, Samuele Ricci and potential returns for players like Ardon Jashari and Yunus Musah.
