AC Milan signs Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos for record fee

AC Milan have completed the signing of Portuguese international Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint‑Saint‑Germain. The forward signed a five‑year contract running to 30 June 2031, with the transfer fee reported between €70 million and €80 million, making him the most expensive player in the club’s history. Ramos arrives after three seasons at PSG, during which he made 131 appearances, scored 45 goals and won two UEFA Champions League titles among 12 trophies. The move was driven by new coach Ruben Amorim, who identified Ramos as the missing striker to revive Milan’s attack. PSG confirmed the sale and Ramos posted an emotional farewell on social media, thanking the club and its supporters. Milan intend the signing to anchor a broader squad rebuild that also targets defensive reinforcements in the coming weeks.
