AC Milan: Ramos praised by Gomes as club eyes Højbjerg

Former Portuguese striker Nuno Gomes has expressed confidence in AC Milan forward Gonçalo Ramos, suggesting the player is well-suited for success in Serie A. Gomes, who has followed Ramos since his youth at Benfica, described him as a complete, modern striker capable of playing effectively within a team structure.

In terms of future squad planning, AC Milan is reportedly considering Pierre-Emile Højbjerg as a potential target for the January 2027 transfer window. The club aims to address a lack of depth in the defensive midfield role to support manager Rúben Amorim’s tactical setup. Højbjerg, currently with Olympique Marseille, is viewed as a high-level technical and economic opportunity, with a market value estimated between 10 and 15 million euros.
