AC Milan charts summer transfer targets under new coach Ruben Amorim

Ruben Amorim, appointed as AC Milan’s head coach, is reshaping the squad ahead of the 2026‑27 season. The club has already completed the signings of striker Gonçalo Ramos and centre‑back Mario Gila, and it is preparing to off‑load several players, notably right‑back Pervis Estupiñán who is close to a move to Aston Villa, as well as others such as Youssouf Fofana, Ruben Loftus‑Cheek and others.

Milan’s transfer agenda focuses on strengthening the midfield and defense. Targets under active discussion include Danish midfielder Pierre‑Emile Højbjerg from Olympique Marseille, versatile left‑back/wing‑back Raphael Guerreiro (a free agent after Bayern Munich), young attacking midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk, and Portuguese centre‑back Gonçalo Inácio, who previously worked with Amorim at Sporting. Additional potential moves mention an interest in Amad Diallo from Manchester United, youth forward Aurelien Guernier, and other squad‑shaping options to fit Amorim’s 3‑4‑2‑1 system.
