AC Milan reshuffles goalkeeping ranks amid transfer interest

AC Milan is undergoing changes within its goalkeeping department. While Mike Maignan remains the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper, the club is considering a change for the backup role. Current deputy Pietro Terracciano is a target for Monza, who are seeking experienced profiles for Serie A.

To address potential departures, Milan is looking toward internal talent. Lorenzo Torriani, a 21-year-old from the club’s youth system, has impressed during summer training sessions, notably saving a penalty from Bruno Fernandes in a friendly against Manchester United.

Additionally, the club has announced contract renewal for 2008-born goalkeeper Léo-Paul Bouyer and the signing of 2007-born goalkeeper Ilja Pantelin from TSC Bačka Topola. Both players will join the Milan Futuro project, an initiative focused on developing young talent.
