AC Milan targets Konstantinos Karetsas while finalizing Gonçalo Ramos signing

AC Milan have completed a high‑profile acquisition of Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint‑Germain, paying an estimated €70‑80 million. Ramos is expected to become the club’s primary centre‑forward under coach Ruben Amorim, addressing a long‑standing need for a consistent goal scorer.

At the same time, Milan remain active in the transfer market, pursuing 18‑year‑old Konstantinos Karetsas, a left‑footed attacking midfielder from KRC Genk. The Belgian club has set an asking price of €35 million plus €5 million in bonuses. Borussia Dortmund is also negotiating with Genk, and Milan’s ability to meet the fee depends on generating funds, chiefly through a prospective sale of winger Rafael Leão to Turkish side Fenerbahçe. Milan sporting director Matteo Moretto told Fabrizio Romano’s channel that “AC Milan hasn’t abandoned this option” and that the club feels “disadvantaged” because it must make sales before finalising new purchases.
