AC Milan completes record Ramos signing, pursues Benfica centre‑back António Silva

AC Milan have finalized the acquisition of Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint‑Germain. The deal, reported by Fabrizio Romano, is worth €74 million upfront with potential add‑ons bringing the total to around €80 million, making it the most expensive purchase in the club’s history. Ramos will join the squad after the World Cup and is expected to lead the attack under new manager Rubén Amorim.

The club is simultaneously targeting Benfica’s 22‑year‑old centre‑back António Silva. Reports indicate that personal terms have been agreed and Milan aim to pay roughly €20‑25 million, with the involvement of super‑agent Jorge Mendes. Silva’s contract with Benfica runs until June 2027, and the Portuguese side is reluctant to sell, having considered a contract extension. Negotiations remain ongoing, and a deal could be concluded before the summer window closes.
