AC Milan sign Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos for record €74 million

AC Milan have completed the signing of 25‑year‑old Portuguese forward Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint‑Germain. The striker signed a five‑year contract running until 30 June 2031. Reported fees range between €70 million and €85 million, with most sources quoting a base payment of €74 million plus performance‑related bonuses, making the deal the most expensive in the club’s history.

Ramos arrives after three seasons in Paris, where he won twelve trophies, including two UEFA Champions League titles, three Ligue 1 crowns and other domestic honors. He contributed 45 goals and 10 assists in 131 appearances for PSG. The transfer is intended to strengthen Milan’s attacking line‑up, giving manager Rubén Amorim a true “number 9” to lead the front‑court.

Milan’s management indicated that, following the Ramos deal, the club will also focus on reinforcing the defence, with targets such as Tiago Gabriel, Gonçalo Inácio, Lisandro Martínez and others being examined. The acquisition underscores Milan’s ambition to contend for Serie A and European titles in the coming seasons.
