AC Milan advances talks to hire Markus Krösche

AC Milan is working to appoint Markus Krösche as its new Head of Football. Following his departure from Eintracht Frankfurt, negotiations are reportedly in an advanced stage, though some reports suggest talks are still in the early phases.

To secure Krösche, who is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2028, Milan may need to pay a release clause estimated between €5 million and €7 million. While the Milan project reportedly appeals to the 46-year-old, Krösche is expected to take a short break before assuming a new role, potentially starting in January.

Once the leadership structure is finalized, Milan intends to target three key reinforcements during the January transfer window: a central defender (with Gonçalo Inácio and Luca Reggiani among the names of interest), a wing-back, and a backup striker for Gonçalo Ramos.
