AC Milan needs squad cuts before pursuing new signings, says coach Ruben Amorim
Coach Ruben Amorim has stated that AC Milan must trim its roster to around 25 players before any major acquisitions can be completed. The club is targeting several departures, including defenders Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus‑Cheek, midfielders Samuele Ricci and Youssouf Fofana, and forwards such as Santiago Giménez and Rafael Leão, among others.
Potential signings being monitored include Chilean left‑footed winger Dario Osorio, valued at €15‑20 million, whose profile fits Amorim’s tactical plans and who has a connection to former Milan defender Simon Kjær. The club is also interested in Portuguese defender Gonçalo Inácio, but his arrival hinges on the sale of Tomori. Additional names linked to the transfer window are Gonçalo Ramos, Mario Gila and other young prospects.
The lack of outgoing transfers is currently limiting Milan’s budget for incoming players, prompting the club to prioritize sales before finalising any new deals.
