AC Monza retains Omari Forson and monitors Argentine talent
AC Monza is managing its squad and transfer interests following recent developments. The club has decided not to put winger Omari Forson on the market. Despite a challenging previous season marked by physical issues and limited appearances, the former Manchester United player is considered a key figure for the 2026/2027 season by manager Ivan Juric and club management. Forson, whose contract runs until 2028, recently scored in a Coppa Italia match against Avellino.
In addition to retaining current talent, Monza is monitoring Argentine midfielder Diego Agustín Medina from Lanús. The club has initiated preliminary contacts to evaluate the feasibility of a transfer for the 2006-born player. Medina, a central midfielder known for his physicality and dynamism, is reportedly valued at approximately 4.5 million euros. Monza management is currently assessing the economic aspects before making a formal offer.
