Getafe defeats Partizan 3-1 in Conference League playoff

Getafe secured a 3-1 victory against Partizan Belgrade in the first leg of the Conference League playoffs, marking the Spanish club's return to European competition after six years. Enes Ünal opened the scoring in the 10th minute following an assist from Johan Mojica. Although Partizan's Demba Seck equalized in the 43rd minute, Getafe managed to clinch the win in the final minutes with goals from Andrés García and Mojica.

The match was marked by high tension when Getafe's Abdel Abqar was sent off in the 68th minute, forcing the team to play with ten men for over half an hour. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Getafe maintained control to take a two-goal advantage into the second leg in Belgrade.

Partizan coach Saša Ilić expressed frustration following the loss, noting that his team conceded goals too easily and failed to capitalize on their chances. The return leg is scheduled for August 27 in Belgrade.
