Academia Judicial attends V National Meeting of Chilean Bar Associations

The Academia Judicial participated in the V National Meeting of Bar Associations of Chile, held in Chillán. The event brought together legal professionals and representatives from various bar associations to discuss the challenges of professional practice.

During the meeting, Juan Enrique Vargas Viancos, director of the Academia Judicial, delivered a presentation titled ‘The Judiciary as a way of practicing law’. He addressed the judicial function as a professional career path requiring specific legal knowledge, analytical capacity, and preparation. He also highlighted the role of the Academia Judicial in selecting and training those seeking to join the Judiciary.

Additionally, the Academia Judicial announced that applications for its 94th Training Program for applicants to the Primary Scale of the Judiciary are currently open. The training process is scheduled to take place in Santiago between August 2, 2027, and June 23, 2028, with the application period closing on January 19, 2027.
