Academic and environmental programs conclude in Córdoba

Academic and environmental initiatives concluded in Córdoba, Argentina. The third edition of the Diploma in Territorial Planning finished in Cruz del Eje, organized by the former provincial Ministry of Environment, the Universidad Nacional de Villa María, and the Universidad Provincial de Córdoba. The program focused on water management issues, with student projects addressing solid waste management, natural reserves, irrigation systems, and apiculture. A significant portion of the discussions centered on the Perilago in Cruz del Eje, with proposals aimed at creating a management plan and a reserve to protect the area from development conflicts.

Separately, the Universidad Provincial de Córdoba (UPC) and the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) from Brazil completed the first phase of an international research mission. The collaboration focused on inclusive education, special education, and teacher training. The mission included meetings with the Córdoba Provincial Secretariat of Science and Technology to study regional innovation policies and concluded with a workshop to systematize comparative data on public policies.
