Academic and international student initiatives in Poland

Researchers from the Academy of Applied Sciences (ANS) in Konin participated in international academic events in Lithuania through the Erasmus+ program. During the International Staff Week and the XIV SCEDU 2026 conference at Panevėžio kolegija, faculty members presented research on topics including civil defense, youth attitudes toward armed conflict, and identity in the era of globalization.

In Poznań, the Welcome Point project organized guided tours for international and Erasmus+ students. These excursions, conducted in English, aimed to integrate foreign students into the local community by exploring the city's historical landmarks, such as the Royal Castle and the Old Market Square. The initiative is part of the ‘Welcome Point – PULS space, your space’ project, funded by the European Union under the European Funds for Social Development program.
