Academic and medical institutions in India announce faculty recruitment

Several Indian academic and medical institutions have announced new faculty and project-based recruitment notifications for 2026.

AIIMS Deoghar in Jharkhand is seeking candidates for various professorial roles, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor, across numerous departments such as Anesthesiology, Cardiology, and Pediatrics. Applicants must hold recognized medical qualifications and postgraduate degrees like MD or MS.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar has released a notification for five project-based vacancies, including Project Research Scientist-I, Project Nurse-III, and Project Technical Support-III. These roles involve walk-in interviews scheduled for 23 September 2026, with requirements ranging from graduate degrees in nursing to postgraduate degrees in life sciences or public health.

Additionally, Aryabhatta Knowledge University in Patna is recruiting guest faculty for Assistant Professor positions on a temporary basis. Vacancies are available in the Schools of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, Economics, and Astronomy. Applications are to be submitted via post to the university registrar.
