The Catholic University of Mozambique (UCM) has launched its first Doctoral Program in Business Management through its Faculty of Economics and Management. The inauguration coincided with the 31st anniversary of the faculty. Vice-Rector Narane Talaquichande emphasized that the program aims to establish a scientific research community capable of producing original knowledge regarding the management of Mozambican organizations to address complex structural challenges in the country.
In Maputo, academic Lourenço do Rosário was honored with the Joaquim Chissano Alumni Mozambican Student in Portugal 2026 Award. Jointly presented by the Joaquim Chissano Foundation and the Portugal-Mozambique Chamber of Commerce, the award recognizes former Mozambican students trained in Portugal who have made exceptional contributions to society.
