Academic events scheduled at UCM and UFRO in Chile

The Universidad Católica del Maule (UCM) and the Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO) are hosting educational events in Chile.

UCM, through the Prefiero el Maule Entrepreneurship School, will hold a marketing workshop on November 9. The session features academic Dr. Alejandro Sottolicchio and Pía Yovanovic, director of Prefiero el Maule. The workshop aims to provide entrepreneurs with practical tools for brand positioning, customer connection, and business differentiation.

In Temuco, Belgian philosopher Pascal Chabot will deliver a keynote lecture titled “Un sentido para la vida” (A Sense for Life) at UFRO on November 9. Chabot, an award-winning academic, will discuss human existence and societal transformations in the context of technological acceleration and artificial intelligence. The event is part of the V UFRO International Week and is organized in collaboration with the Wallonia-Brussels Representation in Chile.
